DEAFHEAVEN

WOW! The new LP SUNBATHER from the 2-piece hardcore/post-rock band DEAFHEAVEN is incredible! The album is full of intense transitions! It will be heavy in-your-face metal, and then switch gears to a melodic soft soundscape. This album is pure artistic freedom! I love it! You have to listen to the entire album to get the full experience!

The Dig

Dig this. The Dig is an incredible band that everyone will be listening to really soon! This new EP Tired Hearts is pretty damn amazing! It follows their stellar 2012 Midnight Flowers album, and takes the band to another level! The shoegaze/pop sounds really come forward in this new EP, and complement the previous albums!  I was able to see this guys last year here in Austin, and I can't wait for them to come back!

Bosnian Rainbows

HOLYZ SHITZZ!!!! Bosnian Rainbows is the other band spawned from the breakup of Mars Volta! I couldn't be happier! The tracks I've heard are just incredible! I can't wait to hear more from them!!! Also they are playing in Austin @ RED 7 May 29th!

Deep Sea Diver

Deep Sea Diver is a really fun indie-rock group from the recent guitarist of THE SHINS (Jessica Dobson)! Her voice is the type of voice I could listen to all night! Her silky vocals and amazing guitar lines work so well together! Check them out here : DEEP SEA DIVER- History Speaks
